You are in the midst of a job hunt and stuck. You know you want (or need) to change jobs but aren't having much luck. Or, you'd like to explore other career options but don't know where to begin. Your friends are sympathetic but are getting tired of hearing you complain and really don't have any insight to offer you, anyway!
Working with a professional can make a big difference in how this journey unfolds! I will prod and question you, seek to determine your personal and career goals and work with you to develop a plan to get you there. As an unbiased, objective professional with the requisite skills to assist you, I am able to point out career options you might have never considered (or knew instinctively but lacked the courage to pursue).
During our meetings, I will provide a framework to navigate the maze of career search. We will evaluate your skills, values, passions, interests and needs. What can you live with and what can you live without? What is most important in your life? How can you translate these needs, values and desires into reality? If you want to take assessments to help you discover your interests and natural leanings, I am qualified to provide those as well.
We will usually meet 2 times per month, for an hour each time. Our time together will be thought provoking and insightful and we will have some fun along the way. You will be able to reflect and learn more about yourself than you realized possible. During our meetings, I will provide you with assignments designed to move you forward. Our mutual objective is to ensure that your needs are being met and you are achieving the goals you have identified.
Between our meetings, you will have unlimited access to me via email or phone at no extra charge. Clients often use this opportunity to apprise me of successes or to seek a sounding board for an issue that can't wait for our next meeting.
